Deposit
A 25% non returnable deposit is required to secure each booking. This can be in the form of a cheque or a credit/debit card number can be given. Bookings secured by credit/debit number will not normally be charged until payment is due, normally on day of departure (or a mutually agreed time). However a 25% deposit will be charged if the room is cancelled. If we have not received a cancellation and the booking is not taken up the full amount will be charged.

Cancellation
All cancellations must be made in writing or via email and received 48 hours before the arrival date. Failure to do so will result in the charges above being levied.

Check in/out
Rooms will be available for check-in after 4 p.m. Rooms must be vacated no later than 10 a.m. on the day of departure.

Damage
While you and your guests are staying at Limetree House, we would like you to leave rooms as you found them. Damage to fixtures and decor will be restored by us and the cost incurred will be presented to you as a charge.

Smoking
Smoking is illegal in Scotland in all public buildings, including, hotels, bars, restaurants and guest houses. Limetree House reserves the right to make an extra charge if it is found that smoking has occurred in a bedroom. This could amount to the total room rate if the room cannot be re-let because smoking has occurred, thereby causing a loss of revenue.

A secured booking confirms that you have read, and accepted our terms of business.
